 Well, spring is finally
here after a long, cold winter. At Stuyvesant
Plaza we are ready to welcome warmer weather with open
arms and to enjoy outdoor seating on benches and at our
cafes. It's time to think about storing your
valuable furs at Beck Furs
and to think about mouthwatering chocolate
bunnies at Lindt
Chocolate. Lindt
has bunnies from miniature to giant and are fun for all
ages. April is National Poetry Month, so
take a trip over to The Book House
and The Little Book House for a book of poetry
for yourself or to share with someone. April
is also National Lawn and Garden Month
- Emil J. Nagengast Florist
has decorative items that will enhance any
garden.
Stuyvesant Plaza has places to buy your Easter
outfit, or outfits for your children in the freshest
spring fashions. For some ideas, visit Circles, White House Black Market, Ann
Taylor Loft, Chicos, Casual Set, Talbots, Catherine's,
Silver Parrot, Coldwater Creek, Rugged Bear, Jr Shoe
Port, to name just a few. Catering
is always available from simple to elaborate for Easter
and Passover, at EATS and at
Bountiful Bread. Look
at our individual restaurants' websites for special
Easter dinner menus, or pick up a decadent dessert
for your dinner at home, from Cold
Stone Creamery or Peaches
Cafe. Don't forget Administrative
Professionals day on April 22; a small gift of candy or
flowers, or a lunch out for your right arm person would
be a good incentive to show appreciation for work well
done.

The Lindt Gold
Bunny
Our Story
Begins...
...One bright spring morning in March, when the
ground was covered in a blanket of crisp white
snow, one of the LINDT Master Chocolatiers saw a
little bunny in his garden. The Master Chocolatier's
young son was thoroughly mesmerized when he saw the
little bunny but began to cry as soon as it disappeared
in the bushes. Deeply touched by how upset his son was,
the father suddenly had a great idea: "I should make a
bunny like that out of chocolate..." He made the bunny
from the finest LINDT milk chocolate and wrapped it in
golden foil. And so, the very first LINDT GOLD BUNNY was
born into this world.
Decades have passed since that
morning, but the Lindt Gold Bunny is still an icon of
spring. People all over the world know spring is not far
away when the Gold Bunny shows his ears
again.

What is the difference
between the SAT, ACT and PSAT?
The SAT & ACT are used for
admission to colleges. The SAT is 4.5 hours long and
covers math, writing and critical reading. There is also
a required essay. All 3 sections are scored 200-800. A
perfect score is now a 2400 and not the infamous
1600!
The ACT is 3.5 hours long and covers math,
english, science, reading and an option essay. The ACT
has one score and it ranges from
1-36.
The PSAT is only taken in
the month of October, junior year. This test is
only used to see if a student is eligible for a national
merit scholarship. It's 2.5 hours long. Each section is
scored 20-80.
For more information on the PSAT, SAT and
ACT, please visit www.kaptest.com. | | |
